SAUVIE ISLAND RIVER HOUSE

Constructed in 1979, this Sauvie Island home lived many lives. With most of its original charm masked by the many additions, duplex conversion, and exterior freight elevator, it was in need of some attention. The owners and their two children were set on making this patchwork house their Net Zero Ready dream home. Working with JHID, we were able to execute a design that brought beauty, cohesion, and function to this house on the river.
